FUTURE EVENTS

Friday, 2nd March, St Cuthbert’s Church, 2.30
pm. A Service for Everyone. Every year, on the
first Friday in March, thousands of Women’s World
Day of Prayer services take place around the
world. This year it is St Cuthbert’s turn to host the
service in Carlisle. The theme is very topical, ‘All
God’s Creation is Very Good’, and it is an inspiring
service, written by women of Suriname in South
America. Everyone is welcome (not just women),
and we hope for enthusiastic support from our own
congregation.

Thursday, 8th March, 2.00 pm. Afternoon buffet
and entertainment in the Tithe Barn for senior
citizens. Please note this is part of the Moving
Mountains Weekend which is a diocesan initiative
which every church is encouraged to partake in.
This event is St Cuthbert’s and St Aidan’s
contribution to that weekend.

Sunday, 11th March. Mothering Sunday.

Monday,12th to Saturday 17th March. Carlisle
Music Festival in the Church and Tithe Barn.
Please note that the Wednesday morning
Communion Service will be at St Aidan’s for this
week only.

Monday, 19th to Friday 23rd March. Trinity
Guildhall Music Exams in Church.

Thursday, 22nd March, Tithe Barn, 7.00 pm.

Lent Bible Studies. St George’s United
Reformed Church warmly invites you to join
them on Tuesdays at 2.30 pm. Studies will last
approximately one hour and refreshments will be
