The Church of England has issued the following guidance with regard to the Coronavirus. Churches should already be following best hygiene practices. We will now no longer be sharing the Peace by handshake but rather a simple acknowledgement of your neighbour. We will also now no longer be sharing the chalice, communion will be in one kind only. Also, the Vicar will be speaking to people at the door but refrain from handshaking as he has to visit hospitals, schools and nursing homes and is aware of carrying infection.
